What is the best topic to choose for a research paper and how do you write one. and advice would be appreciated. thank you

Research something you're interested in maybe pursuing as a career or something you're passionate about. It's important to choose something you at least sort of care about so you don't want to die when you actually have to write the paper. You could also research specific places you want to go. You could research problems in the US that you feel need fixing and the realities of the consequences if we don't. It could be environmental issues like deforestation or political problems like the voting system, the death penalty or modern health care. The best thing to do is to pick a subject and gather up as much information on it as you can, then categorize it into three different body paragraphs. Make sure each paragraph ends with a sentence that sort of summarizes everything you said in that paragraph. Intros and conclusions can be tricky but just try your best to focus on the main points you're wanting to make about the subject. Like if you were writing a paper on deforestation, you might want to start it with "Since the 1930's, United States forests have diminished by almost 50 percent." Obviously that's not completely accurate, but you get the idea. You wanna make sure you put facts only and no sort of opinions of your own or anyone else's. Just think of the paper like a list of facts, only with better sentence structure and linking words to make it just as straight forward, but more readable and interesting.
