extremely confused, HELP! Find the x- and y-intercept of the line. –10x – 6y = 120 x-intercept is –10; y-intercept is –6. x-intercept is –12; y-intercept is –20. x-intercept is –20; y-intercept is –12. x-intercept is –6; y-intercept is –10.

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Have you tried graphing it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and i still keep messing up & getting different answers..

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

It's not -12, -20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think (-12,0) for x and (0,-20)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got D. So now im really confused ..

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

to find the y-intercept plug 0 for x and solve for y @crystalm

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Its the first one, because when you graph it you go to the x-intercept and find -10, the you go to the y-intercept and find -6 and the line meets there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the point (0, -20). That would be a y-intercept. And your second one is (-12, 0), which is an x-intercept.

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

|dw:1421800526542:dw| @crystalm hope that helped now do the same for the x-intercept :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks everyone so much!

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

np :)

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

You're Welcome
