Question

I'm working on an essay on comparing Abraham Lincoln and Julius Caesar, I was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks to help me out. Has to be a 3-5 page essay and I don't know even where to start.

I would start by looking up both of their leadership strategies as they were both strong leaders, and maybe look up their war strageties and different religous/political/familial beliefs. Maybe write about their families, how their different time periods and upbringing may have affected hteir differences

you would look at both of their life histories and to compare is to write about what they have in common and contrast means to write about the differences they have so would look up both of their biography and take a piece of paper and write Abraham on one side and Julius Caesar on the other side and write what they have in common and that' all you have to do and it will give you the three to five paragraph that you need. good luck hope this helps.

Thank you guys. Pages, not paragraphs. But yeah, iIll write about there family lives too, I know Caesar had three wives and a son with Cleopatra, but then I don't know exactly how many wives Lincoln had, but I know he had at least one and she died. So, that's something they kind of have in common?

This is what I have so far.

Paragraph 1: Catchline, explanation of point of your paper, thesis statement.
Paragraph 2: Mini-Bio on abe lincoln
Paragraph 3: Mini-Bio on Julius caesar
Paragraph 4: aspect to compare
three sentences applying that to julius caesar, three sentences apllying that to abe lincoln, and one sentence explaining what is the same and different,
Paragraph 5: same thing with another topic
Paragraph 6: Samething with a third topic
Paragraph 7: Restate the thesis statement and the last sentence of these three last paragraphs in different words.
That should get you a decent four pages if it is in MLA format, which means double spaced.

we'll this is what I came up with Lincoln and Julius Caesar were both strong men. They had both been in leadership roles Lincoln was elected the 16 president of the united states. Julius Caesar was elected as a praetor which is a roman official. Lincoln married and had once and had two sons Julius also married and had children. Lincoln was ranked Lincoln was ranked the best of three other presidents and Julius was also ranked to be one of the most powerful leader in the history of the world.They both had a tragic death were someone murder both of them.
