OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one of the following is a correct spelling of a plural noun? A. gooses B. oxes C. buffaloes D.Knifes i think its ether c or d

OpenStudy (mikkel900):

Actually. I'd say C. The Plural is buffaloes. I thought it was D, but that's knives. my bad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its D

OpenStudy (<3meggann<3):

Its not D. Knifes is the third person present not the plural to knife.

OpenStudy (<3meggann<3):

The plural to ox is oxen and goose to geese.

OpenStudy (amanda6541):

c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c

OpenStudy (jademc01):

It is not D because the plural of knife is knives--not knifes. It's not A because the plural of goose is geese. It's not B because the plural of ox is oxen. Answer: C, that's correct plural use of the word.
