Standing at one side of a room, a person finds that a one foot ruler can be held veritcally so the top is in line with the top of the opposite wall and the bottom is in line w the bottom of the opposite wall. If the ruler is held 2 feet from the eye and the wall is 8 feet tall, what is the distance across the room?
