What does the Continental Drift Theory tell us? @AlexandervonHumboldt2
it tells that continents were once whole continent. it is proved by foundng the same fossls on several continents and by the coastline of continents
can you explain it a little better?
ok
http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/dinosaurs/glossary/Contdrift.shtml
the idea is that the continents were once a one whole continent
oh ok
Just saying, you shouldn't trust wikipedia
why?
because anyone can edit wikipedia
false information
know but it is the best right sourse
@AlexandervonHumboldt2 is right, it basically says that continents were just a massive piece of rock and over the years they have been slowly drifting away from the center and creating smaller sections/continents if you can actually take a look at Argentina's cost line it will perfectly match Africa's left side cost line, that is direct evidence of our young planet earth showing continental drift
ok thx :)
hope that helps @geny55
its not proved
well archelogst suggeted that because of what i said
we're just addressing the question... that is the actual info behind the theory. In addition, I actually think it kinda makes sense even though it may not be proved.
yes it makes sense
i am just saying its not proven, dont get me wrong, i think it is important for people to understand why it still remains as a "theory"
if u look at the coast lines of the continents you can see remnants of how they could possibly fit together like a jigsaw puzzle
