a force of 45 N is exerted on an object, resulting in an acceleration of 5 m/s^2 for the object. What will the objects acceleration be if the force doubles? A 2.5 m/s^2 B 5 m/s^2 c 10 m/s^2 d 20 m/s^2

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

please note that the mass of your object is: \[m=\frac{ F }{ a }=\frac{ 45 }{ 5 }=9 \; Kg\] so if the force doubles, we have F=90 N, please apply this formula now: \[a=\frac{ F }{ m }\]
