Which of the following relations are functions? y = −x + 2 x = −y + 2 x − y = 2... medal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u still need help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Can you tell me what you know so far about functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whether a function is even or odd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay now tell me what a relation is.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all are functions my friend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your not suppose to give answers you could get banned for that

OpenStudy (igreen):

No answers. @joyraheb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well choice 1 only are function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you tell me why that would be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry iGreen but really what explanation are there ok since there's y and x in all equ that every equ is a function of x good now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i don't know i say that because of the negative in front of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

barbie15 since there's a y and x in all cases it is called a function ok tell me define function please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unction is "even" when: f(x) = f(−x) for all x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A function g is said to be even, provided that g(–x) = g(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay I am so not getting this medal. Take it over joy. Your doing great @Barbie15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so am right or wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noo here you are defining kinds of function but your question says which of the following are "FUNCTION" only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question does jot have to do with even or odd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@joyraheb there can only be one y and one x how is that wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

confusing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Barbie its okay you got it right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

scarlett whats the matter with you he has understood the question wrongly and your saying proceed its not about memorizing and giving them out in math but you should understand the ques

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do understand the question Ive taken that class before.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just want a medal by telling him your right i want him to understand not to give me a medal!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scarlett u took it online class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

NO I DONT I HONESTLY THINK ITS RIGHT. Im sorry if im wrong can you please explain.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@barbie15 yes Im taking flvs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Me too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? What grade?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11th

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u full time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

student

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

barbie I dont know what level are you or what system.... but for us all of these are functions and can be graphed well i dont know what they teach you after all this question is really dum and I advice you when your in class you say all are functions ok the 2nd one if your taking the a function is always y=... ok if you take the 2nd one you can sinply mive the y to the left and then you can consider it a function but thats nonsense its simply when you have a y and an x then you hage a system of axis when you have a system of axis you have a function period.
