OpenStudy (k_lynn):

what's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the surface area of the prism. A. 24 m2 B. 54 m2 C. 94 m2 D. 104 m2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the prism is the link

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

you need to find the area of all the parts of the prism. Can you do that for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, the base is 3x4=12

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

right, and that is the same as the top. So what are the sides?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5 m so 5+5+5+5=20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12+12+20=42

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

the front and back sides are both 15 because 3x5=15. the top and bottom sides are both 12 because 3x4=12. and the side sides are both 20 because 4x5=20. Now you just need to add them all together twice, because there are two of the same sides. \[12+12+15+15+20+20=?\] can you do that for me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i have to get off

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

that's fine. But all you need to do to finish that question is add all those numbers correctly.
