Mineral Reserve is the availability of a particular mineral in an occurrence, that can be economically exploited. Please remember, reserve can be of proved, estimated or probable category, depending on the degree of the intensity of geological investigation carried out to assess the potentiality of that occurrence. But mineral resources are usually tentative. In other words, Reserve pertains to a particular mineral while the Resource is the sumtotal of all the economic minerals.
