How can you raise your Smartscore?

Fan people and give people medals and get fans/ medals. as well as being on the site a while and answering/asking questions

Every little thing you do on OpenStudy can increase your smartscore. It's how well you do these things to increase it. There's no fast easy way to increase it. It takes times.

For the problem solving portion, you must answer questions not only in detail, but guiding the user to understanding the problem. Giving direct answers is not only not allowed, but it doesn't even help the user understand anything. Plus, direct answers don't increase your smartscore as fast as answering in detail would.

Teamwork! One thing people consider to be somewhat hard to do. By gaining fans as well as fanning users, you are then increasing your smartscore even more! The more fans you earn, the higher you go. But be aware that creating accounts to fan yourself doesn't increase your smartscore by much. Also, it's not allowed and could lead to your main account being suspended forever. You best bet would be to enter chats, as well as help out a lot.

Lastly we have engagement. Here is the fun part, when you ask questions you're increasing your smartscore! Isn't that cool? You can increase your smartscore just by making threads you need help on! Not to mention the amount of medals you earn and give out can help increase it faster! But keep in mind, spamming yourself with medals isn't allowed on here and will not increase your smartscore fast at all. Another thing about engagement is that the longer you're on here, the higher your smartscore goes too!

The fastest way to make your SS go up is by helping people.

0-50 is no work at all.
50-60 is simple.
70-70 is hard and very tough.
60-75 you relax and go a bit slow.
75-80 you work hard.
80-90 you work very hard and fast.
90-99 is easy and passes by fast.
99-100 good luck on that.

0-50 - You don't notice it.
50-60 - You start to notice that it barely goes up.
60-70 - Some users take a long time. Many users never make it. And some users get through it quite fast.
70-75 - You have this urge to get that olive color which is despised by many.
75-85 - You work harder than ever but get practically nowhere. This part is very tedious.
85-90 - You work very hard and fast.
90-99 - You don't care as long as you see that green color but you still make it to 99. I feel bad for the users that have been stuck somewhere in the middle for a long time.
99-100- Good luck on that.
