Help with a few questions. FAN AND MEDAL.
Queen Elizabeth: 1558 - 1603 I need 3 examples of what Queen Elizabeth did to show she was tolerant of other ideas or cultures. Did she promote education? If so give some example. Did she promote equality? Give some examples.
*for the first question this should help you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabethan_Religious_Settlement * for the second question She did promote education. Elizabeth cared passionately about education, and involved herself in the life of both Eton College and Westminster School. In her desire for the middle and upper classes to become litrate, she founded grammar schools, continuing the work begun by Edward VI. She also founded Jesus College, Oxford. * As for the third question Equality was not a concept anyone believed in, in Elizabethan times. People believed in a social hierarchy. I hope this help you!
