Does anyone know how to balance chemical equations?
okay I can help with that.
are we balancing chemical equations?
yes this is physical science
oh sorry didn't see the chemical part :/
The MnO2 was a catalyst and did not get used up in the reaction. Balance the equation for the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide
H2O2 H2O + O2
please keep in mind that number of specific atoms at left side has to be equal to number of those atoms at the right side
Manganese dioxide catalyses the decomposition of hydrogen.
for example, let's consider the subsequent equation: \[H _{2}+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }O_2\rightarrow H _{2}O\] we have: left side: there are 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen, right side: we have 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen
So that is a balanced equation? How do i make mine balanced?
@shifuyanli Do you know?
@Michele_laino was trying to help you
I know but she left
okay well idk ask @dan815
@lexie<3 Are you any good at these?
whats the chemical equation
H2O2 H2O + O2
H2O2 -> H2O + 02
