When you get a question like this, just plug in the values into both equations and see if the answer is the same as in the equation. :) Hope this helps.

there are 2 ways of doing this
1- replace the values given as options into the variables 
2- find x or y and then substitute that by the x or y from the secodn equation (this way takes longer)
