The equation of line EF is y = 1/2 x + 6. Write an equation of a line parallel to line EF in slope-intercept form that contains point (0, -2). What about this?
y=1/2x-2?

:) I like giving medals
In history I won't stop helping until i am The Immortal One >:D
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
y-y1=m(x-x1)
m is slope
y1 is -2
