OpenStudy (karabella98):

MEDAL AND FAN A block is suspended from a spring. The spring is stretched 0.200 meter. If the spring constant is 200 newtons per meter, what is the weight of the block?

OpenStudy (jaredstone4):

Use Hooke's Law Fs = kx where k is the spring constant and x is the distance the spring is stretched (from its equilibrium position). The resulting Fs should be equal to the weight of the block.
