@Directrix
@Directrix sorry for calling you so much!
Help please.
wait is it 630 or 765?
I should change my user name to confused!
This is a regular square base pyramid with base edge 15 and slant height of 18.
What are we trying to find: surface area or volume?
surface area.
Okay.
Lateral area is 1/2 the perimeter of the square base times the slant height.
The base edge of 15 gives 4*15 for the perimeter of the square base.
Ok I am getting this down.
1/2 * 60 * 18 = 540 for the lateral area. Do check my calculations.
The base is a square of side 15 so its area is 15*15 or 225.
225 + 540 =
I don't see the options. Whatever you posted up top, I read as "Online Conversation Chart" and wondered what it was. After clicking, I saw that I had misread.
=765 for your first comment.
Oh, and the blue strip on the top has a little menu for home and all of that.
225 + 540 = 765
Does that look right?
I think so, use a calculator.
