You need a complete circuit to flow current through the bird to damage the bird

For number 1 what i meant is if the bird is standing on a whole bunch it will be electrocuted but it only sits on one so noting happens to it

I think in number 1 and 2, their is no potential difference of it (no current). I am not sure with my answer.
