OpenStudy (tori040403):

What is the volume of the triangular prism? A. 1500 ft3 B. 2500 ft3 C. 3000 ft3 D. 4500 ft3

OpenStudy (tori040403):

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

volume of a triangular prism would be 1/2 *base* height *width. Because you need to find the area of the triangle first so we already know that's 1/2*b*h and then to find a triangle prism, all you do is multiply that by the width So they already gave you all the values you need :) So simply multiply everything together but don't forget to multiply by 1/2

OpenStudy (tori040403):

im confused on one part..... is 10 or 25 the base?

OpenStudy (tori040403):

my guess is 10?

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

yep, base would be 10 :) And the height is 12.

OpenStudy (tori040403):

ok thx! :)
