Something that sorta confuses me... I know what rate of change is... but it confuses me when someone ask what line has the greatest rate of change..for example given the following lines: y=-3x+1 y=2x+1 Like I know when we 2>-3...But I feel like the greater change is in the line that is y=-3x+1 because |-3|>|2| Does this confuse anyone else?

nope, the steep of the lines is | | , so that -3 is steeper than 2
