Newly - freed african americans and immigrants- (What part did they play a role in the industrial revolution) ????? Please help will medal an fan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well think of cotton, the Africans did not do the job in time harvesting it and making clothing, so there came tractors and looms to harvest cotton and to make clothing. Does this make sense?

@WalkerSlayer what exactly did they do though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@K_V8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what part did they play in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When they left thier slave owner they were looking for jobs and tok any job they could get. That means that they often took lower, low paid jobs doing the dirty or dangerous work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The inventions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it now thanks for ur help though it answered my next question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with @K_V8 because the male Africans would go out and harvest the cotton on tractors while the woman Africans made clothing with looms and got paid like a few pennies a day
