"With a squeal and a giggle" is misplaced because it implies that the wave is squealing and laughing, not the boy. I don't know if you know this but waves DO NOT squeal and the certainly DO NOT giggle. D. With a squeal and a giggle, the wave came in, and the boy became soaked.
