What do I do with e, I haven't got the faintest clue. Guess the value of the limit (if it exists) by evaluating the function at the given numbers (correct to six decimal places). lim t->0 e^5t - 1 / t t = +/- 0.5, +/- 0.1, +/- 0.01, +/- 0.001, +/- 0.0001 When I see the e I do not know what to do, or how to calculate it. What steps I must take to make it something I can understand/work with. Note; I'm not looking for answer to the question exactly, I'm looking for how do I interpret e in questions like this.
