\[10+x=15\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

five more than 10 is fifteen solve that by subtracting 10 to get \(x=5\) then double it to get \(2x\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain more please @satellite73 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. 50

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So five more than 10 would be 15 and like @satellite73 said you solve by subtracting so you do 15-10=5 so then you know x=5. Now you multiply by 2 because it says 2x which is the same as x times 2. Sooo now you got 5x2=10 so it would be C. which is 10!!! I hope I helped. And I hope you get it now!!!
