@bibby plz help

OpenStudy (bibby):

\(y=\color{blue}mx+\color{red}b\) where \(\color{blue}m\) is the slope and \(\color{red} b\) is the y intercept

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

how do I find out whats the slope and whats the y-intercept?

OpenStudy (bibby):

the y intercept is the point on the line where x=0 either look at the line where x=0 or logically just look at where it hits the y axis

OpenStudy (bibby):

\(\large m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\)

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

where it his the y axis so that would be 1 right

OpenStudy (bibby):

yeah so we have y=?x+1

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

would the answer be y=0.5x+1? or no?

OpenStudy (bibby):

looks good

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

okay so that's correct right

OpenStudy (bibby):

as I said, yeah

OpenStudy (chunkymonkay):

okay thank you :D

OpenStudy (bibby):

anytime :)
