Hello All! Please am working on project on how aggregate sizes affect the strength of concrete. Can anyone get me some thesis, research papers or anything on this subject to read? Thanks so much!

This is a very tricky question. Some research have been done strictly relating the size and strength (compressive, flexural and fracture energy) which may not tell the whole story. For example, water content varies inversely with aggregate size, and we know that water content also inversely varies with strength, so there are many indirect factors to consider. You'll get a good headstart reading the following: http://www.concreteconstruction.net/concrete-articles/aggregate-size.aspx and do other research from, for example, there are quite a few papers out there if you google "aggregate size and concrete strength" and many more if a similar search is done at the university library for papers.

Thank you! I am going to the website now to read more there....

You're welcome, and good luck! :)
