@onelove26 u there?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes @Godlovesme sorry I was answering a word problem
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
it's fine just making sure
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
so \[f(x)= a(b)^x\]
that's the exponential function formula b is the base
if b is >1 it's growth if b is 0-1 then it's decay
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
so what do u think @onelove26 :)

ohhh so the answer would be that it's exponential growth? or exponential decay? lol it has to be one or the other...
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
well 1.6 is > 1 right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so if b is above 1 than it is growth. if b is lower than 1, than it would be decay? for example: 0.4 would be decay
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
so it's exponential growth :) @onelove26
OpenStudy (anonymous):
wait 0.4 would be? why? lol isn't it lower than 1?

that was for the 1.6 one lol ofc 0.4 is lower than 1 :P
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ohh okay.. so then 0.4 would be decay. right?
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
yep
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Thank you very much!!
OpenStudy (godlovesme):
anytime :) thanks for the medal :)
