I have to solve the system of equations in this problem (which i have noooo idea what that means XD) 2x + 3y = 1 y = 3x = 15

Nnesha (nnesha):

there is 4 ways to do it elimination substitution matrices and graphing which one is easy for you ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

and that suppose to be y = 3x - 15 or plus 15 ??? 2nd equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know... which one is easier??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would say elimination...

Nnesha (nnesha):

well easy one is graphing then elimination and then substitution( for this one you have to solve one of equation for either x or y then replace that into second equation like in this question. 2nd equation is already solved for y )

Nnesha (nnesha):

do you know any thing about distributing ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay then lets do substitution

Nnesha (nnesha):

you didn't tell me what is 2nd equation is it negative 15 or positive 15 ??

Nnesha (nnesha):

bec there is two equal signs ^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh XD ooops! positive XD

Nnesha (nnesha):

okay :) s0 |dw:1422244079565:dw| replace y by 3x+15
