Pls help ASAP. Which triangle, if any, has side lengths of 7,11,28? Possible answers: equilateral, isosceles, scalene, it's not a triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it scalene?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

there is a particular property of triangles that has to do with the 2 sides adding up ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the largest side cant be any bigger than the sum of the smaller sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks, I gt it now

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since 28 is way bigger than 7 + 11, this tells us that this simply cant be a triangle of any real proportions :)
