A stone is thrown upwards at a starting height of 6 feet with an initial vertical velocity of 10 feet per second. The stone makes contact with the ground (0 feet) on its way down. How long was the stone in the air? How high does it reach? What time does it reach that height? At what time is it 1 foot off the ground? Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a second.
