Which was an argument used by opponents of the U.S. Constitution against its ratification? A. The French king will not approve of it. B. The federal government has too much power. C. Congress has no authority to raise money. D. There is no system of checks and balances.

OpenStudy (gibbs):

The main argument against ratifying the constitution by the Anti-Federalists was that they thought that the government that would be created would be too powerful and they would just be paving the way for another monarchy like the one that they had just fought so hard to free themselves from in England. They also wanted to add a Bill of Rights before ratifying the constitution and not after.
