1.     Is this legal? Why or why not?

If the music never is LEAVING as in being ported or taken of of her MP3 then it is not illegal and she has rights to listen to music with her friends. On the other side of she takes music that she bought ONE copy of and makes another for example putting it on a disc and giving it to her friend that copy is pirated and is illegal.
