If I drop two objec on earth, with diffrent masses which one hit the ground first, and why. could any one help me have these answers . thanks

OpenStudy (littlebird):

They should hit at the same time....as long as there is no friction and stuff.

OpenStudy (littlebird):

Now I just googled it...and the Internet says... "As such, all objects free fall at the same rate regardless of their mass. Because the 9.8 N/kg gravitational field at Earth's surface causes a 9.8 m/s/s acceleration of any object placed there, we often call this ratio the acceleration of gravity."

OpenStudy (kenny252):

Both objects hit the ground at the same time because the acceleration of gravity is the same for all objects no matter the mass but more force is applied to the greater mass object to have the same acceleration

Thank you, if drop a feather and marbel drop at the same time from a same high which one hit the ground first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you everybody

OpenStudy (kenny252):

If air resistance the marble will but if no air resistance both would fit the ground first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kenny 252, could you please tell, why marbel will hit the ground first, thank you

OpenStudy (littlebird):

The marble will hit the ground first because it is less affected by air resistance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you again
