Is giving a link that says the answer without a reasoning considered cheating? CoC says no posting direct answers, so people put links from "answers.com" and "brainly.com"...is that allowed? Just want to clarify...

pooja195 (pooja195):

I've asked mods about this it is not considered a direct answer if the link does not have a direct answer in

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

No, that is not allowed, it is still considered a direct answer.

pooja195 (pooja195):

@sleepyjess its not direct

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Yes it is, I asked a moderator about this a few days ago, let me see if I can dig up the message.

pooja195 (pooja195):

asnaseer Our policy is defined in the Code of Conduct - see link at bottom of Questions area. A link to another side would be fine as long as that other site explained each step to get to the answer. If the other site simply gives the answer without any explanation then this would be considered against our policy. Hope that helps. yesterday Block Report Abuse Reply Delete
