OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

pi is always irrational (not rational)

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Is 4. B

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

@Directrix could you help me?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

yes you are correct

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

I;m honestly not sure on #5, I promise you I do not just post things without trying it on my own first. Could you help me on it?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

is ok ai'll help you :) you have to find the set that only contains irrational numbers (the link I sent you explains how to find those)

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Yes I read over it and I'm still reading over it actually.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

-3.0541=not rational since it can be a fraction sqrt99=3sqrt11 =not rational and pi= not rational

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

so A can be since there are no rational numbers on it but lets try B

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

1/2 is rational isn't it?

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

pi=not rational 1/2=rational since it equals something -13=not rational since it can't become a fraction

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

yes you are correct and so far A seems correct :)

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

Okay thank you very very much, I really do appreciate it.

OpenStudy (daniellelovee):

is ok thank you for the medal ^.^
