1 question please help. Will MEDAL ^_^

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

How are living conditions in the twenty-first century different than conditions in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries?

OpenStudy (mstv1112):

I just need some examples. ( the role of women, leisure and entertainment, social classes, education, family, legal rights, and/or job opportunities.)

Living conditions in the twenty-first century differ greatly from conditions in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Education and family or more specifically, the role and rights of women in the family, are examples of the differences. In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, education was required for children of 6 years to 12 years. Now, most children attend school from when they are 5 years old to 18 years old. The Woman's role in the family has also changed. Now marriage, teaching or working in a factory aren't the most available careers for women. They can find many jobs that would not have even existed in in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries open to them. Many women decide be a "stay-at-home mom" to take care of the kids and still have part time jobs on the side. http://quizlet.com/12341748/world-history-flash-cards/
