Which is the correct way to punctuate the salutation of a business letter? A: To Whom It May Concern, B: To Whom It May Concern: c: To Whom It May Concern;

This question can be answered easily and is very simple to understand, I don't know how to put it without giving you the answer straight, but for the opening you use a colon and for the closing you use a comma, if I understand what I was reading right.

OpenStudy (tjbrew):

Here's the correct punctuation: a comma for a personal letter, a colon for a business letter, and either punctuation mark in an email. (The colon is formal.) - See more at: http://www.businesswritingblog.com/business_writing/2009/08/dear-comma-semicolon-or-colon.html#sthash.XC6uBt5n.dpuf. Good Luck!
