The formation of mycorrhiza is a symbiotic relationship between plant roots and fungi. Another example of a symbiotic relationship between fungi and a photosynthetic organism is A. a moss. B. a lichen. C. a mold. D. a mushroom.

A.moss

I can't agree. Moss is just plant. Correct answer is a lichen. It's a composite organism made up from fungus and cyanobacteria, which is photosynthetic organism. Example of lichen could be Map lichen (Rhizocarpon geographicum), or Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica), which, despite it's name, isn't the moss.

Not all lichens have cyanobacteria as the non-fungal partner.

Yup. Some have an algae.
