Hemophilia is a genetic disorder that causes a protein required for normal blood clotting to be missing. In a cross with a mother who carries the allele for hemophilia and a father who has normal blood clotting what would be the genotypes of the parents? A. XCXC, XCY B. XCXc, XCY C. XCXc, XcY D. XCXC, XcY http://www.thelearningodyssey.com/Assess/DPT/QIEImagesStorage/HSLQ_/HSLQ_BI13D04_L_stem2_1.jpg

thats alot, doyou think you can maybe shrink it down for me?
ok i will try hold on
thx
Answer by mareeclara The gene for Haemophilia is carried on the X chromosome. Firstly here are the genotypes and phenotypes for the condition where C is normal and c is the defective allele (note the C’s are superscript): XCXC = normal female XCXc = carrier female XcXc = affected female XCY- normal male XcY – affected male
refresh if you see weird things
XCXCY = Unknown Affected Fe-male autisum. Idk just guessing :P
I was thinking C.
dose that help?
mm hmm
thx
yea i think your right
ok thx guys
