oxygen is an element, but it occurs naturally as a diatomic molecule
i dont think this question makes sense, as a molecule needs to be at least 2 atoms. If it's more than 2 atoms, then it cannot be an element.
^i agree, if you have to choose one, then choose \(O_2\)

oxygen occurs in nature not as single atoms, but as two bonded oxygen atoms (its a molecule). but oxygen is still an element
