Well, actually to be honest, you should probably take a look at this tutorial if you want to learn LaTeX. I'm not a very good teacher.

You'll probably have more of a chance at learning latex sooner if you read through that tutorial. I"m not the greatest teacher in the world, and jaynator taught me to \(\color{black}{L^AT_EX}\)
