Lisa stumbled -- running -- deeper and deeper into the forest. The scene she just experienced flashed in her mind. Tears streamed down her face -- blurring her vision. She slowed her pace to avoid falling. She came to a clearing and wiped the tears from her eyes. She had to clear her head and focus on surviving her first night out here in the woods. She had a small pack she had stored for a situation like this. It contained a bow and quiver, a long dagger, a torch and matches, and a bedroll attached to the bottom among a few other essentials. Lisa came upon a cave in the clearing but she sensed something strange. As she inched towards the cave something finally clicked... smoke. There was the smell of smoke lingering in the air. She drew her dagger and crept ever closer to the entrance. She looked around the edge of the cave and dropped her dagger and the sand-covered floor. Someone was leaning against the back corner of the wall. He seemed to be unconscious. He had a blood soaked bandage on his right calf and his left hand was wrapped. A fire was smoldering the entrance. Lisa lit a match and got the fire raging again. The nights here were very cold so she went to collect more firewood. When she returned she knelt next to the stranger and undid the bandage on his leg. She put some homemade ointment on the wound and put a fresh bandage on. As she threw the old bandage in the flames the stranger began to stir. She scrambled backwards, dagger in hand. Orion slowly opened his eyes trying to gather his surroundings. He saw Lisa and panicked. He forgot his injured leg and tried to get up, only to fall back down in pain. Lisa let her dagger fall to the ground and knelt next to Orion she grasped for her pack and unclipped her bedroll. She laid his head on the bedroll and tried to ease his pain.

"Why? You aren't... going to.... to hurt me?" Orion struggled to say. Lisa smiled,"No" she said softly.
