How do I solve this? Th lesson doesn't explain it very well. What exponential function is the best fit for the data in the table? x f(x) 1 -4 3 -1 4 3 f(x) = 4(3)x - 1 + 4 f(x) = 4(3)x - 1 - 4 f(x) = one fourth(3)x - 1 + 4 f(x) = one fourth(3)x - 1 - 4

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

this is complicated lol but i suggest u to plug 1 for x in each equation and if u get -4 that should be the one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The 4(3)x means \(4\cdot 3^x\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the last one is \(f(x) = \frac{1}{4}3^x - 1 - 4\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The last function is the one that better fits this set of points
