Probability: Please help. Statistics Canada reports that the land area of Canada is 9,094,000 square kilometres. Of this land area, 4,176,000 square kilometres is forested. Suppose that you choose a square kilometre of land in Canada at random. a. What is the probability that the area that you chose is forested? b. What is the probability that the area that you chose is NOT forested?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so the decimal value of the forested land is forested = 4176000/9094000 this will be the probability that an area chose at random is forested P(not forested) = 1 - P(forested) hope it helps
