A stuntman jumps from the roof of a building to the safety net below. How far has the stuntman fallen after 2 seconds?

OpenStudy (compphysgeek):

You need to know the relationship between distance, acceleration and time. That relationship is \(s = \frac{1}{2} a t^2\) if you know that \(a = 9.81\ ms^{-2}\) you've got all you need to calculate the distance \(s\) the stuntman fell.
