OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

log 2 = 0.3010 and log 3 = 0.4771 then log 25 = ?

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

@SyedMohammed98 @Smita12 ? please help >_<

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

i have a hint forget log(3) that has nothing to do with it figure out a way to make a 25 out of 2, 10, and exponents

OpenStudy (misty1212):

if you need another hint let me know

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

yes i do need another hint

OpenStudy (misty1212):

what is \(\frac{10}{2}\) ?

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

umm? 2 log 5?

OpenStudy (misty1212):

LOL

OpenStudy (misty1212):

you are thinking way too hard i only asked what \(\frac{10}{2}\) was

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

me very bad at math dont laugh

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

dont help then

OpenStudy (misty1212):

half of ten is five right?

OpenStudy (misty1212):

and five squared is 25

OpenStudy (misty1212):

so \[\log(25)=\log\left((\frac{10}{2})^2\right)\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

then break it apart using properties of the log, so that all is written in terms of \(\log(10)\) and \(\log(2)\)

OpenStudy (aaronandyson):

.
