\(\sf Scalar\ Quantities\) only includes magnitude, while \(\sf Vector\ Quantities\) include both magnitude and direction. Example of \(\sf Scalar\ Quantities\): Temperature, Speed Example of \(\sf Vector\ Quantities\) : Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Scalar are those which are denoted by magnitude and unit. Vector rare those which are represent by their magnitude , direction and unit.

OpenStudy (masumanwar):

vectors are the quantity that need to express with indicating direction and magnitude for complete sense such as centripetal acceleration and other quantities also they changed for direction and magnitude on the other hand scalar quantity do not hAVE ANY DIRECTION TO INDICATE RATHER THEY CAN COMPLETELY BE POSSIBLE TO EXPRESS WITH MAGNITUDE SUCH AS MASS .
