Parker Middle School only admitted the brightest students in the city. Walter was one of many bright students who attended Parker. Walter was class president, part of the debate club, and captain of the football team. However, he never placed anything above his studies. He knew his future success would be because of his present studies. 1. Which sentence represents the meaning of bright as it is used in the paragraph above? The path that laid before Walter's future was a bright one that would be hard to hinder. The light in Walter's eyes was bright and brilliant and glowing with lots of possibility. Walter knew all the answers to the upcoming test because he studied hard and was fairly bright. Walter's bright attitude and approach to everything made him a very likeable person.

well a is saying that Walters future will be great and succsessful and the second one is if he works hard enough his future will have many good possibilities.
