Someone please help me? Which is the correct classification of this system of equations? -2x + y = 7 3y = 6x + 4 parallel coincident intersecting

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

I use this really cool online graphing calculator. If you type in the equations you can see if they are either parallel, coincident or intersecting. https://www.desmos.com/calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you can identify the slope, you can tell if they are parallel because they will have the same slope, if they dont have the same slope they are intersecting

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the equations are equal to each other then they are coincident

OpenStudy (k_lynn):

http://prntscr.com/5yjnpv that's the image that comes up after you graph the equations on the calculator I gave you.

Thank you, it really helped! @k_lynn

yep, no problem. Glad to help :)
