srry it took so long had to refresh web page because it wouldn't let me press the button.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

this is what you know from the graph, 42% = 210 so find the value of 1% by dividing both sides of the equation by 42 when you find the value of 1%, multiply the answer by 100 to get 100% of the people surveyed, which is everyone. hope it helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cambell_st i tried but it's too high of a number.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so \[1~percent = 210 \div 42\] then multiply this answer by 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 88.5 and times it by 100 my teacher says it's too high of a number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and when i did 210/42=500*100=50000 but it's still too high of a number.
